Labourer - Haywards Heath

We are currently looking for a reliable and hardworking Labourer to join our team on behalf of a long-standing client with whom we have built a strong working relationship over many years.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who takes pride in their work, has a positive attitude, and is looking for consistent, long-term work with a respected client that values quality, reliability, and professionalism.

The successful candidate will be working on retail refurbishment and fit-out projects, supporting site teams to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

  • Moving and distributing materials around site
  • Loading and unloading deliveries
  • Assisting tradespeople and site management as required
  • Carrying out general labouring duties
  • Maintaining clean, organised, and safe working areas
  • Assisting with site logistics and material management
  • Collecting and delivering materials when required
  • Supporting project completion to ensure works are finished to a high standard

Essential Requirements

Applicants must have:

  • Valid CSCS Card
  • Current Asbestos Awareness Certificate
  • Previous labouring experience
  • Experience working within Screwfix stores or similar retail/commercial refurbishment environments
  • Good understanding of site health and safety procedures
  • Strong work ethic and a proactive approach to work
